Return Policy:

14 Days Guaranteed Living or Credit we'll be giving!


  • Our 14 day guarantee begins at time of delivery.
  • We will credit your account for any item which is DOA provided a picture of the item is provided within the 14 day window.
  • Upon receipt of your shipment, a packing slip is included in your box- please make sure to keep the packing slip - the item must be photographed on the packing slip so we can see the barcode, date and packing info. A duplicate packing slip is not available so please make sure to keep the one you receive with your order.
  • Please email the picture to issues@reefs2go.com with your name, order number and working email for correspondence.

Also note--during cold weather, live item(s) will slow significantly in response to the cold. SLOW acclimation is a must for success. We provide you with the necessary items to complete the acclimation and recommend a minimum of 2 hours of acclimation for best results.


We reserve the right to require the DOA product to be shipped back to freshwaterfish2go for a full store credit of the cost of the animal(s) which are dead. If you are asked to return a DOA item, freshwaterfish2go will provide you with a return label at no additional charge to the customer.


Any non live animal item (ie: pump, skimmer, etc) can be returned for full refund within 30 days of purchase.

Our shipping is calculated as follows:

  • You can purchase as many LIVE items as you want and pay ONLY 24.99

  • If the total on LIVE items is greater than 150.00 you will receive FREE shipping!

Livestock orders received by midnight EST will be shipped 2 business days after purchase is confirmed (paid for) based on the following schedule:

If LESS than 25% of your order does not meet our health requirements, we will ship the remaining items that do on the scheduled ship date, and refund those that do not. If MORE than 25% of your order does not meet our health requirements, we will hold your order until the next shipping day. You will be notified via email.


We can ship on a date AFTER the listed date but you will need to notify us via email after you have completed your purchase so we can notate your order of the change.


We provide a schedule for shipping so you are able to plan the arrival of the shipment and avoid DOA's. We reserve the right to postpone the shipment of LIVE animals due to potential weather issues as noted on weather.com. You will be notified via email and/or phone if your order is unable to be shipped on the scheduled date due to weather or an unforeseen issue with the LIVE item. You will also receive an email from UPS/Quantum View the night of your shipment with tracking info. If the shipping date or delivery date falls on a holiday, we will ship your package the next available date for shipping.


Please provide a physical address for shipping- UPS will not deliver to a PO Box. Please make sure the address & phone # which is on your profile is correct prior to check out. We ship to the address on your profile and the phone number will be included for the carrier to contact you in the event of a problem with your package.


Items such as Pumps, Skimmers, etc (non living items) will be shipped via UPS or USPS. This will be determined by the seller based upon size/weight of the item.
